Located in the heart of the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, our campsite near Lake Sainte-Croix is easily accessible by various means of transport:

  • By car: from the A51 freeway, take the Manosque or Vinon-sur-Verdon exit, then follow signs for Riez.
  • By train: the nearest TGV stations are Manosque (30 km), Aix-en-Provence (90 km) and Marseille Saint-Charles (120 km).
  • By plane: the Marseille-Provence (120 km) and Nice-Côte d’Azur (140 km) airports serve the region.

Arrivals are from 3 pm and departures before 11 am. We thank you for respecting these times to ensure an optimal welcome for every holidaymaker.

Your four-legged companions are welcome to join you at the campsite, subject to certain safety and hygiene rules. They must be kept on a leash in the aisles of the campsite, and we ask you not to leave them alone on your pitch or in your accommodation. There is a high risk of barking, which may disturb neighboring campers.
Category 1 and 2 dogs are not allowed on the premises.

Regional connections regularly serve Riez and the surrounding villages. Riez is served by intercity bus routes that provide easy access to the main towns in the surrounding area (Manosque, Digne-les-Bains, Valensole, Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, Gréoux-les-Bains). Bus stops are located in the village, around 500 m from the campsite, making it easy to get around without a car. From the nearest train stations (Manosque, Aix-en-Provence, Marseille Saint-Charles), a bus connection will take you to Riez. As timetables and maps change with the seasons, we have them available at reception, and the Riez Tourist Office can also point you in the direction of the most practical routes.

The village of Riez-la-Romaine is just 500 m from the campsite: no more need for a car! Just a 10-minute walk and a 3-minute bike ride away, you’ll find all the shops, services and entertainment in Riez town center, as well as the cathedral.

1 Proxi Market, 1 Casino and 1 Intermarché, 4 bakeries, 2 butchers, florist, hardware store, clothes, shoes, 3 beauty salons, 3 hairdressers, bookshop-press, ice-cream parlour and takeaway pizza, 4 bars (lottery and PMU) and a dozen restaurants.

And of course, the famous and magnificent Provencal markets in Riez’s two squares every Wednesday and Saturday.
